CopyNook allows you to obtain images from your scanner or camera to send them to print, to e-mail, or save them as image files in the same or different format. Besides letting you acquire images, you can load images from your computer. The image formats supported both for loading and saving are: bmp, jpg, tif, tga, gif, psd, psx, png, and wmf. There is also a "Copy" option that allows you to copy an image from the scanner or camera, which is automatically sent to print, allowing you to specify the number of copies.

After an image has been loaded, you can adjust different parameters for the image and layout. These parameters are arranged by tabs and can be accessed on the right side of the main window. In the Adjust tab you can change the orientation and angle. In the Color tab you can adjust the brightness, contrast, hue, and saturation; moreover, you can apply grayscale or negative effects. In the Layout tab you can change the measurement units, the position of the image, size and margins. In the Text tab you can add the actual date, time, and text to the image.
